John FERGUSON Obituary

FERGUSON, John Barry (Barry). Born February 10, 1931. Passed away on October 29, 2023. It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved brother of Patricia (deceased), Nancy, and Uncle to Angela, Gabrielle, Nick, and Timothy. An inspiration to those that had the pleasure of knowing him and sharing in his creativity and love of life. A private family service has been held, however a celebration of his rich and wonderful life will be held on Tuesday 28 November 2023 in the Southgate Room, upstairs at the Warkworth Hotel at 11am.

It was an honor to have worked with Barry from 1987-1993. A day without Barry was like a day without sunshine. His creativity and life force was so strong. I learned so much about living each and every day to the fullest. Condolences to Nancy and the family. I will continue to keep his spirit in my heart always.

One of the greatest privileges in my life is being taken in as a friend of Barry.
Barry's personality was affable and prodigious. His infectious enthusiasm for life was second to none. Barry enjoyed making people around him happy.
He spent his entire life creating beauty with flowers for the pleasure of others. A truly remarkable man.
