Sending condolences to John's family . Was a good friend of mine back in the early 70's for a number of years so was sad to hear he had passed away . He was a talented musician who was writing some great original compositions way back then .

I have many fond memories of John, growing up in Miramar, attending Miramar Central school and going the Britannia Sea Scouts together. He was a born entertainer raconteur and musician, even in his early years.

We shared a love of sailing, firstly in "Nanki Poo" ( A small open sailing dinghy) and subsequently in his father's home built yacht, upon which we had an unfortunate mishap on the shores of Evan's Bay.

John was a joy to be with and will be missed by all who knew him.

RIPlaying music JD.
Trace, he was your 'cool muso' uncle, but also your friend and you did so much for him and made sure you saw him as often as you could, especially in his last month or so.
Hard as it is, you have some awesome memories to look back on and being able to listen to his music will hopefully make you happy.
Still sucks though
Love Ali (& Tony) xx
