Vaughan, Margaret, Rodney and Derek send our very sincere sympathy to John's family. Rodney and Derek certainly appreciated John's input into their music and the Paeroa College. We also enjoyed Christian Fellowship with John and his family.

Fano a koe dear John. A great man for whom our family held much respect. A man of faith and integrity, we remember John fondly and the family as we shared the memories of our special time on Niue Island. Thinking of you all this week as you prepare to celebrate a life well lived!

My condolences to John's family. He was a very important person in my life -- music teacher at Inglewood High School (choir, band, operas, carol services, assemblies, music classes) but also, and especially, an inspiring English teacher. It was lovely to see him at the last reunion. I remember John with great affection and appreciation.
