I write to express my sympathy to Jack's wife and family.
I also want to express my gratitude for all the help, family history and knowledge that Jack imparted to me while I was compiling the Delich Family History. I published my book DELICH FAMILY EMIGRANTS - FROM DALMATIA TO NEW ZEALAND IN THE EARLY 1900s and generations of my family have enjoyed their history ever since - 1995.
Jack was a very intelligent man and a total gentleman. He was very concerned for, and wanting to help his family and his community.
Jack was the mastermind behind Auckland's "Tarara Day," which was held every year for New Zealander's of Dalmatian and/or Maori ancestory. Those days were wonderful.
Jack was my mother's first cousin, Joy Minto, nee Delich.
We are very proud of our cousin Jack and he will always be remembered by us. Rest In Peace Jack.
