CURRAN, John Stanley. 475063, NZ Army, 31 July 1943 - 8 October 2011 Dearly loved husband of Helen and amazing father and father-in-law to Greg and Janine, Andrew and Tanya, Martyn and Nicola, and Cathryn and Bryce. Much adored Grandad of Brenna and Greer, Caitlin and Shawn, Brooke and Logan, and Meg, Drew and William. "You fought so bravely and left nothing to spare. You never lost your sense of humour and had us laughing until the end. You still have us laughing. You touched so many lives along your journey through life. You are with us always. How Great Thou Art." A service to celebrate John's life will be held at "Crestwood", 615 Heretaunga St, Hastings on Thursday October 13, 2011 at 11.00am followed by private cremation.
