CRON, John. Passed away in London on 27 December 2015, Loved husband of Susie, loved brother of Myrtle, loved uncle of Lindsay, Lynette and Daryl Taylor, loved son of the late Jack and Norah of Nelson Creek. A Celebration Wake of John's remarkable life will be held at the Nelson Creek Hotel on Saturday 20 February 2016 at 1pm. Transport will be leaving from Recreation Hotel Greymouth from 12 noon. Jack & Susie have been our great friends over the years, both in London (long evenings at the 'Bistro Benito'?) and in those 'surprise' visits we experienced whenever they visited NZ. Jack's rugby judgment and the fairness of his views were legendary, even if he got one or two wrong! He kept in touch with everyone, and in later years his emails about his travels were a special treat to receive - Jack at his best.

Jack was a loyal friend to Graham and Sue Wrigley. We have shared time with him in NZ , London and Dublin.
I shall remember him for his incredible networking.

Sorry to hear of John's passing. I competed with him in cycling in 50s and remember him as a great sportsman
