John COX Obituary

So shocked to come across the sad news incidentally that he is no more! He was my lawyer in 2004/5 and the compassion he displayed towards me as a new migrant was never forgettable. He was quite different - a lawyer with a true human face who supported me so genuinely and I never forget his warm compassion. It is so true that god takes good people first. Rest in peace my friend!!

John was more than a lawyer to our family and I am sure many others. He was a friend and trusted confidant. Hard to believe he is gone, he is sorely missed.

It is inconceivable to think of John being gone. When I want legal opinion it was always John that I would turn to, such a void where once he would be. John's passion for the law, his compassion. His is a guiding light I sorely miss. May he rest well in a knowledge of being sorely missed.

Every day I walk passed John's office and every day I remember his kindness and knowledge. It is said to see his office in sort of demolition state. We talked about the noise from the next door projects. We talked on LinkedIn, why did he have to go, still don't get it and accept it. Cees.
