John COTMAN Obituary

We were shocked and saddened to hear of John's passing and send our heartfelt condolences to Rosemary and family! John was such a lovely person and we feel blessed to have known him and share his passion for the Weka and native bush. I am sure he's up there at the rainbow bridge imparting his vast knowledge and taking care of all the weka! We will keep the fire burning John as long as we can! Debbie and Steve over the hill!

I was very sad to learn of John's passing. I will always remember him for his irrepressible enthusiasm and passion when he led our family on a tour through the beautiful forest reserve at Kawakawa Bay... a most knowledgeable, charming and amiable guide. My deepest sympathy to Rosemary, Richard, Margaret and their families.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. John was such a special, quiet person always willing to help where he could.

COTMAN, John Grahame (John). Passed away suddenly on February 14, 2023. Dearly loved brother-in-law of Pamela Williams, Christchurch, David Woodhams, Martinborough and Neil and Erin Woodhams Auckland. He will be sadly missed by all of us and our families. Our love and thoughts are with Rosemary, Margaret and Richard.
