CHRISTIE, John Corr. No: R611971 British Merchant Navy and Vindicatrix Association Member of Levin. John passed away on March 20, 2012; Aged 74 years. Dearly loved husband of Mary. Loved father and father-in-law of Diana and Bryan Banston (Sydney), Martha Carter and Luke Childs (Levin), Jane Christie and Garry Hodgson (Paraparaumu), John (Queensland), Eli and Gaylene (Dunedin), Frances Christie and Richard Nieuwenhuizen (Ashburton). A loved grandad and great grandad. A loved brother of Samuel (UK), David (deceased), Diana (deceased). Beloved uncle of Sue (Christchurch), Glenn (Auckland) and Tina (Northland). Sincere thanks to all staff at Horowhenua Masonic Village Hospital for their care and kindness. A celebration of John's life will be held at Saint Mary's Anglican Church, Cambridge St, Levin tomorrow (Friday) March 23 2012 at 12noon. Private cremation to follow at the Avenue Crematorium, Levin.
