John Joseph "Jack" Canute

John Canute Obituary

CANUTE , John Joseph (Jack). NZ Army 27th Machine Gun Battalion Reg 7711. Passed away peacefully 6 November 2010 at Lansdowne Hospital, aged 95 years. Dearly loved and respected husband of the late Edna Catherine. Loving father of Pamela, Kathryn and Marilyn. Father- in-law of Barry , Kelvin and Graeme. Cherished grandfather of Donna, Vicki, Brendon, Andrea, Wayne, Leigh and Debra and Poppa of 11 great grandchildren. Special thanks to Dr Grant Robertson and staff at Panmure Medical Centre, also to the Howick Baptist staff, Amon and Kate and staff at McDonald's , Pakuranga. At Jack's request a private service has been held. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the National Heart Foundation, P.O.Box17- 160, Greenlane 1546, Auckland would be appreciated. CANUTE, Jack. Thank you for your friendship Jack. You were inspirational to us all and will be so sadly missed. "Jack's Corner" will never be quite the same. With love from Amon and Kate and past and present staff of McDonalds Pakuranga.
