BOARDMAN, John Edward. Passed away peacefully in Christchurch, on Friday, April 19 2024, aged 86 years. Dearly loved Uncle of Pam, Kath and Mark. Special thank you to Richard Bromley, Kerry MacDonald and Ross Palmer, and also Russley Village, for their kindness and care of John. I it's the same JohnBoardman who used to live in Maryhill Terrace Dunedin as a child I went to school with him. Lesley (Hunter) Corkin. My condolences to the family.

Our sympathy is extended to the family. John's parents Inez and Jack Boardman were treasured friends of my parents Ruby and Bob Wood. They used to play golf together every Sunday afternoon. I have found memories of John through music and have known him since 1960. I visited him at Russley just a week before he died.
