John Begley Obituary

BEGLEY, John (Jack). Died peacefully on 26 November 2010 with family. Beloved husband and friend of Peggy. Loving father to Margaret, Michael and Luke. Supportive father-in-law to John, Deryn and Cathy. Special Poppa to Sara and Mark, James, Sam, Matthew, Tom and Oliver, Maria, Daniel and Andrew. A man who loved life and looked up at the sky, not down at the ground. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Francis by the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Motutapu Avenue, Little Manly, Whangaparaoa on Wednesday December 1 at 11.00am followed by private cremation. Rosary will be held on Tuesday 30 November at 7.00pm. All communications to PO Box 305, Whangaparaoa.

Sincere condolences to the Begley family. Jack will be remembered by the many Social Welfare workers in Auckland whilst we all had common ground in the Queen's Head Tavern and the Astor Hotel. Although many of us have passed on as well I'm sure i can speak my thoughts on behalf of us who are left. Gavin Antony JP
