Kay and Phillip and all the rest of your family, sending you all our love from across the ditch.
The fact that Uncle Johns passing is so soon after Aunty Edna shows how very deep and solid their connect was/is.
Uncle Johns smirks, smiles and pranks were always a highlight of visiting Otorohanga over the years and I have many fond memories of the laughs we had together.
While this must be a difficult time saying good bye, we can feel at peace that these two love birds, one Aussie and one Kiwi can now continue their time together

I remember going into their store in Otorohanga and how cheerful they both were.
I'm very sorry for the loss of both of your parents.
Your dad sold me their green Austin A35 in 1979.
Sincerely
Karen Silvester (previously Reon Parkes)

Hi Kay
So sorry to read of your Dad's passing so close to mum. My deepest sympathy to you and Phillip
and your families. It has been a long time since I have seen them as don't go to Otorohanga very often. A kind and caring couple.

We will remember you always Uncle John - and remember the cheek you always gave me with a laugh and a smile and of course the wisdom you and Aunty Edna gave me when I insisted I try my first coffee at your place right before I was going to bed - you had a GREAT LAUGH the next morning after I'd had no sleep all night
Thinking of my AMAZING COUSINS at this very sad time xxxx
A TRUE LOVE STORY - now with Aunty Edna
