Good Mate we started playing bowls together at Oneroa B.C on Waiheke Island together with Geoff Herbert all first time bowlers we had a lot of fun and sucess together .
John and I carried a lot of wood from truck to site of the new kitchen at the club house we were a lot fitter in those days, I hope the club remembers all that John and his lovely wife Elaine did for the club in that time. My condolences to his famliy from Michael Oliver
