John Aspinall Obituary

ASPINALL, John Henry Of Wanaka formerly of Mt Aspiring Station On Friday November 4 2011 peacefully after a short battle with leukaemia, at Dunedin Hospital. Aged 60 years. Dearly loved husband of Sue, much loved father and father in law of Catie and Pat, Randall and Allison, and Rachal, loved son of Phyllis and the late Jerry, loved brother and brother-in-law of Willie and Kaye, Christopher and Sue, and Julia. Loved son-in-law of the late Burke and Lois Cottrell, loved brother-in-law of Jo and Charles, Mary and Roger, Mick and Vicki, and loved uncle John to Clare, Anna, James, Libby, Jacqueline, Richard and James A service for John will be held at "The Venue" Orchard Road, Wanaka at 3:00pm on Thursday November 10 followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Leukaemia and Blood Foundation (Otago) would be appreciated and may be left at "The Venue". Dear Sue and family,We wish to express our deepest sympathy to you all at this very sad time and hope that the many caring thoughts that you are receiving will help you through such a difficult time.John has always been there for family,friends,the community and the nation.His great efforts will certainly be remembered by all who knew him and he will be greatly missed.

Dear Sue and family,
We are deeply saddened to see that your beloved John has passed away. We feel privileged to have known you and John for many years after having met through YFC. You can be assured that John lived is life to the fullest and gave generously of his time and energy to many a good cause. He is a deeply respected gentleman and will be greatly missed but always remembered. We cannot be with you tomorrow in person but you will be in our hearts. We offer you our sincere condolences and love to all of the family.
