van ESSEN, Johan Alfred (Han). Han van Essen passed away peacefully on 20th April 2021 aged 90, surrounded by his loving family. He is now safe in the arms of Jesus. Dearly loved husband of Nella, Dad and Father-in-law of Marja and Chris, Ellen and Peter, Eric and Belinda, and Shira. Much loved Opa of Jacinta, Monique, Caleb, Zoe and Mia. A service to celebrate Han's life will be held at North Shore Memorial Park Chapel on Tuesday 27th April at 11am.
