My thoughts are with the extended Basi family.
I meet Mrs Basi when I was a student nurse at Waikato Hospital 50 years ago.
I have fond memories visiting the family farm at Whitikahu with Shashe.
Mostly I remember the warm welcome, lovely food and lively conversations.
It was inspirational that the family was able to care for her over the last few years in her own home.
A kind and generous lady who will be missed .

Waheguruji
Our deepest condolences to the Basi family and the extended family. Aunty ji had a beautiful presence and a divine soul. She encapsulated everyone around in her in her love. My memories of Aunty ji are from the late 80s and early nineties at the old Manurewa Gurudwara. When I met her for the first time, it seemed like I have always known her. May Aunty 's soul find eternal peace and dwell in divine bliss.
Condolences from us Chopras, Harbans and Uma, Amrit Kaur, Kamal Kaur and family from Fiji and Australia
