Jocelyn was a wonderful neighbour and friend of the Quill family in Grandview Rd, Dinsdale. She was a good hostess to dinners and afternoon teas and always supported our neighbourhood watch get- togethers. A great artist and vibrant person we loved time spent with her. We send heartfelt condolences to Lawrie, Jenny , Vivienne and families.

Dear Lawrie and families,

I was saddened to read of Jocelyn's death and sorry that circumstances precluded me from attending her funeral service.

I remember Jocelyn with affection and respect. She was always a warm and welcoming host when we had Hamilton City Ministry Group meetings at your home, Lawrie.

She was an intelligent and thoughtful woman. You were a great team together.

Sending my condolences and best wishes to you as you again "walk the valley of shadows".

Arohanui,
Lindsay Cumberpatch

On behalf of Margaret Reynolds .Mum always talked highly of the life and times of Jocelyn. Margaret particularly enjoyed the meet ups that Delphine and Jocelyn had for a few years.

Jocelyn was the Session Clerk at St Stephens, my first parish back in 1999-2001. I have lovely memories of visiting her and Lawrie. When I told her I had got engaged one Saturday, she had flowers to present to me at the end of the service the next day! I walked out as usual, holding them, and she grinned, telling me I needed to practise for my wedding day - my preaching gown was off white! I still have the book mark she made me, and a wee cross stitch she did. Love to you Lawrie, Jenny and Vivienne, and all the family.
