ASHBY, Jocelyn Mary. Passed away peacefully at East Cliffe Retirement Village on Thursday 14 July 2011. Beloved mother and mother- in-law of Mike and Shirley. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the SPCA c/- PO Box 43221, Mangere, Auckland 2153 and would be much appreciated. A service for Jocelyn will be held in the All Souls Chapel, Purewa Crematorium, 4A Parsons Road, Meadowbank on Tuesday 19 July 2011 at 2.30pm. I have just heard the sad news of the death of your dear Mother and Mother-in-law, Jocelyn. I will miss her. I loved the contacts by mail and telephone from Canada and the U.K. She was so soft spoken, kind and positive and dearly loved her animals. It was lovely to get to know her a little bit in 1991 on our visit. My condolences to you both.
