My heart is broken hearing about the passing of my childhood best friend. Joanne was such a special, big hearted, peaceful soul - I loved spending our weekends together. My favourite memory was of us dressing up as Madionna and singing our hearts out to her songs at top volume - sorry Mr and Mrs Murphy for that!! And the other semi funny memory was the day we dropped Jo home to Ormiston and Ben the dog was so happy to see her he jumped up and bit her lovely wool jumper and then proceeded to run and unwind the complete jumper My heart is with you all today - lots of love and peace to the whole Murphy family and my fellow Baradene friends Kerry-Anne Boyd ( Poots) xxoo

So many of my great childhood memories seem to have you in them Jo, from fun times at Cluny and Baradene, to hanging out at your place in Ormiston Rd - doing our dorky dance recitals, swimming, sitting on the wooden-gate in the paddock below your house yelling out "Townies!" at the cars going by...
