Joanna FAHEY Obituary

On behalf of the students at St Marys College. We would like to give our condolences to Mrs Faheys family and that we miss her happy heart around the school.

Very sad to hear about Mrs Fahey - she was a wonderful teacher and very special to so many students. Aroha and thoughts from the Beattie family.

My condolences to your family Dennis - Jo was a fixture at St. Mary's with a passion for words and a love for her job. She had strong and clear convictions and will be sadly missed by many.

I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Jo's sudden passing. I have such fond memories of the happy times we spent together in Wanganui and our shared love of The Messiah, which we attended together on many occasions. We are sadden by the sudden loss of our dear Ms Fahey. Her incredibly generous spirit will always be remembered by our family and her passion for Latin, Poetry and English which inspired our daughters.
