Joan STEWART Obituary

So sorry to hear of the passing of a beautiful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Joan left a wonderful legacy of devotion to duty as a helpmate, wife and homemaker passing on many skills to her children. Warren remembers in particular her kindness and attention when as a little boy he was stung in the head by a swarm of bees. Joan lovingly tweezered out every 'sting'. I remember Joan telling me her marriage had been "such good fun" when we talked about Bill passing. She was special. One of the first countrywomen I met when I came to live in rural Ohauiti. She was an inspiration. Deepest sympathy to all the family. You have lost someone we won't forget. Warren and Lana Wright.
