Joan HERBERT Obituary

HERBERT, Joan Gwendolyn (nee Lucas). Passed away 17 August 2018 aged 90. Loved wife of the late Tony Herbert, mother to Peter and Susan, and grandmother to Blake and Lachlan. A big thank you to the staff at Crossley Court Rest Home, Orewa and CHT Halldene Rest Home, Red Beach. A private cremation has taken place and according to her wishes, a private memorial will be held at Stillwater Riding for the Disabled in October when all family members can attend.

Very sad to hear this news. I have very fond memories of Mrs Herbert at the North Shore Riding Club and much later working with her at Riding for the Disabled. Lost touch since we moved to the UK but she will always have a very special place in my heart and memories. Rest in Peace
