Joan HAMILTON Obituary

Hamilton, Joan Evelyn (Nee Dyer). Passed away peacefully on 24 January 2026, aged 98 years. Dearly loved wife and life long companion of the late William Hamilton. Loved father of Peter, Stuart and Karen. Very special grandpa of Rachel, Chris and Lindsay and Fiona. Treasured GGJ of Ali, Coen and Isla. Mother-in-law of Louise, and sister of the late Betty Chidgey (UK). Joan was a former Deputy principal of Te Awamutu College, long term resident of Waiheke Island, and priest for the Anglican Shared Ministry on Waiheke. A service for Joan will be held at the Davis Grange Manor Chapel on 31st January 2026 at 2pm. Joan's family would like to thank all the wonderful staff at Logan Campbell Retirement Village for taking such good care of her over many years.
