BROADBENT, Joan On 10 October 2014, Peacefully at Patrick Ferry House, Albany in her 94th year. Dearly loved and loving wife of the late Tom Broadbent (Kerikeri). Loved mother and mother-in-law of Frank and Carol (Ohakune), Alan and Barbara (Kerikeri), Jim and Jillian (Kerikeri). Loving Gran of Michelle and Aaron, Nicola and Fiona, Rebecca and Clinton. Great Gran of Akeina, Jessica and Isaac. Cherished friendship with Naomi, Beth and Sharon. Loving companionship with the late Ray Tong over the years together and the continuing, very happy supportive times spent with his family. Special thanks to all the staff at Patrick Ferry House for their care and attention over the last two and a half years. In lieu of flowers, donations to Canteen, PO Box 56072, Dominion Road, Auckland 1446, would be appreciated. A service will be held at the North Harbour Chapel of Dil's Funeral Services, 185 Schnapper Rock Road, Albany, on Thursday 16 October at 3:00pm, followed by private cremation.
