Jim McCABE Obituary
McCABE, Jim. Passed away at home on 3 September 2022 aged 71. Much loved by his wife Brenda, and sons Liam and Kieran. Treasured brother to Bill, Mary, Elizabeth (DEC), Christine, Michael (DEC), Anne, Greg, John and Margaret. Proud son of Jim and June McCabe. A journalist who made his passion his career. He lived a life rich with music, writing, family, friendship and West Ham Football Club. A service to celebrate Jim's life will be held in St Andrew's on the Terrace on Thursday 8 September at 2:30pm. Sincere sympathy to Brenda,Liam,Kieran and the extended McCabe family on the death of Jim[R.I.P.]
We loved meeting Jim,Brenda both when they visited the home of his McCabe ancestors at Mount Pleasant,Killinick,Co.Wexford,Ireland and subsequently we met them in Wellington in 2005 during the British & Irish Lions Tour to New Zealand.
A gentleman who willed be sadly missed by his family and friends.
Prayers will be said and candles will be lit for the happy repose of his soul in the Church of his McCabe ancestors,St.Fintans R.C.,Mayglass,Co.Wexford,Ireland.
