As a teenage schoolgirl at Sacred Heart, I would rush to the window with my friends when we heard Jillian´s little red sports car coming up the driveway. We all wanted to see her elegantly alight from her car and even though she was unaware we were watching from the first floor window, she did not disappoint. She was one of the most elegant, beautiful and kind women that I´ve met in my life. I recall she even leant me a pearl necklace for my first job interview. I remember spending a fabulous afternoon with Jill and Ralph on their boat at Paramata. Rest well Jill. You are remembered fondly and missed.

All these years later I still think about her. I met her at Papatoetoe High School and watched her amazing life as it unfolded. A truly remarkable women !

Aunt Jill will surely be missed. I am grateful we had a chance to visit her & Ralph in Australia several years ago. She was a wonderful person and has certainly left her mark on the world.

Jill was an extraordinary person in every respect. She will be greatly missed by all who's lives she touched, from her family and many dear friends to the thousands of girls she groomed into ladies through the Academy of Elegance.
Jill was stoic until the last breath. After years of caring for Ralph until his recent passing, we all wished Jill would have some very greatly deserved "Jilli-time". Very few people knew how ill she was and her passing is a great loss. She will be missed and very fondly remembered.

My sincere condolences to Jill's family.
I met Jill so many years ago in Wellington, and over time we kept on 'meeting' on Lambton Quay, or Kirks! We always chatted away and caught up with what we were doing, what the fashions were, and what travels she and Ralph had been up to. A little light has faded, but not gone out. Kind regards to you all at this time. Sandy Dobson
