Jill HOOGWERF Obituary

HOOGWERF, Jill Enis (nee Newman). After a long illness, Jill, aged 78, went to be with her Lord on 20 March 2026, surrounded by her family in Omokoroa. Born in 1947, Jill was a devoted servant of The Lord Jesus Christ, Sunday School teacher for many years, loving mother, and a wife of 57 years to her husband, Gerardus (Gerry). Jill is survived by her husband, two children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren. A memorial service to celebrate Jill's life will be held at 14th Ave Gospel Centre Tauranga on March 28 at 2pm John 14:1-3, defined her life: Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
