Should this notice by chance be for the Theo Davy who was a jeweller in Paeroa and a member of the Paeroa Jaycee Chapter back in the 1960's then I am really sad to read. Theo and his wife were good friends of my family for the short time I worked in a Bank in Paeroa in 1960/61.

It is a privilege and a pleasure to have known Theo and he will be sadly missed at the Thursday card afternoons. I have lots of wonderful memories of the laughs, cheek, chats and fun and sometimes a song or a joke he brought to our group. An interesting gentleman with a great sense of humour who gave me a run for my money at 500. My deepest sympathy to his family and those that loved him. Regards Leila Morse

Theo loved to sing and sang until he could no longer. When one choir finished he joined the new replacement one. He enjoyed music.
Thank goodness he was able do concert and sing at Cambridge. Will always be able to remember him, more so by seeing him sitting in concert in video of our concert.
May he be able to keep singing where he now is.
