Jennifer HERCUS Obituary

Hercus, Jennifer Ruth Christian (Jenny). Passed away peacefully on February 17, 2026 at Ellesmere Hospital, Canterbury aged 81 years. Much loved mum and mother-in-law of Lisa and Aidan, and Scott and Minna. Cherished Nanny to Padraig, Grainne and Tadhg, and Leonardo and Sebastien. Jenny's family would like to say a big thank you to the beautiful staff at Ellesmere Hospital, their care of her was wonderful. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Friends of Ellesmere Hospital. A memorial service for Jenny will be held at St John the Evangelist church in Leeston on Friday, February 27th at 10.30am. Messages may be sent to PO Box 99, Omakau 9352.
