I am devastated to learn the Jenny has died. She was a lovely lady and an active supporter of the Papatoetoe Historical Society and over six years helped me to achieve having a paver for the woman pioneer of NZ business, Elfreda Tracey, installed in a new shopping area next to her Central Theatre. She also helped me with historical information for my compilations, was always communicative and most cooperative, considering others. Her work for the Society was dedicated and considerable. She was diligent in managing her condition for many years. We are all worse off for her demise.

Jenny was a lovely lady with great knowledge and community spirit. She was always a welcome visitor to the Papakura & District Historical Society. She will be sadly missed by her many friends in local history circles.

I first met Jenny when I became a member of the Papatoetoe Historical Society about 2000. I remained a member till about 5 years ago. The Society would probably not have existed without her. The commitment she had to PHS was amazing. We did not always agree, but I certainly respected her work. I knew that she had battled cancers for many years. She never complained & I admire her courage & cheerfulness.

Sending sincere heartfelt condolences to Grahame & family. Jenny will be missed by many. We will miss keeping up with family news and her help in our genealogical research. We will continue keeping an eye on her Mum´s (Aunty Margarets) memorial here in Foxton that Jenny organised.
Much love to you all from us both.
