Jeffrey CLARK Obituary

CLARK, Jeffrey Henry. On 21st December 2024, peacefully, at his home in Taupo, in his 87th year. Dearly loved husband of Angela; Loved father and father-in-law of Jayne and Graham, Jill and the late Dean; and adored grandfather of Jorja. Friends are invited to attend Jeff's Funeral Service at The Founders Chapel of Remembrance, 117 Rickit Street, Taupo, on Friday 27 December at 1:30pm, to be followed by private cremation. I have very fond memories of a next door neighbour in Tamatea Road. The quality of finish he applied to building projects like his own staircase and beehive was outstanding. I have never seen better in my life.
But most of all I recall a trip to lake Tarawera.
I caught my first and best ever trophy rainbow
trout trolling from his dinghy . But more memorable than that was Jeff's humour and company as we shared the weekend in a rustic lakeside cabin. He told me it would not fall down as long as the bora kept holding hands.
The day we moved in next door Angela welcomed us with a tray of fresh food and drink. The warmest greeting we have ever received at any new home. As a new young mum Heather found Angela to be the best friend and neighbour imaginable. Every memory of the whole Clark family brings forth happy smiles and memories. Our sincere condolences to all Jeff's family on their loss.
