Jeanne Sheehan Obituary

Of South Boston formerly of Quincy, July 26, 2006. Beloved wife of the late Harold W. Sheehan. Loving mother of Dorothy Sheehan of NH, Warren Kramer of TX, Jacqueline Conway of Quincy and the late John Sheehan, William Sheehan & Jeanne LeBlanc. Devoted grandmother to 18 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Visitation will be held in the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception at Marian Manor Nursing Home, 130 Dorchester St. South Boston on Monday morning from 8:45am to 9:45am. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10 o'clock. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in Jeanne's memory to: The Marian Manor Building Fund, 130 Dorchester St., So. Boston, MA 02127. I was sorry to hear about your beloved mother. Our family was so fortunate to have known and loved her. From the many bingo nights, to ceramics, and just sitting at her home or my parents which was often a Sunday ritual. My grandmother and grandfather (Edward and Ellen) adored her as well and my mother (Snookie) often said she was like a second mother to her. I will cherish all the memories that she has provided for us and I will always remember her smile and soft ageless skin. She was quite a remarkable woman and will be truly missed.
