Janice SMITH Obituary

SMITH, Janice Vera (nee Lee). 26 June 1947 - 30 July 2021. With sadness, the family announces the peaceful passing of our beloved Mum. Cherished wife of the late Bill, precious mother and mother- in-law of Desiree and Alex (Hamilton), the late Wendy, Paul and Louise (Mangakino), Andrea (Kaitaia), Murray and Jodie (Porirua), Dan and Emma, Kate and Jeff (Whitianga). Darling Nana to Hayden, Jarrod, Stella, Chloe, Paige, Jaide, Jasmine and Talia. Special Great Nana to Ollie. After many years of ill health she is finally free. A celebration of Janice's life will be held in her hometown of Matamata in The Rosa Chapel, Tamihana Street, on Thursday, 5 August 2021 at 11am followed by the burial at The Matamata Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Leukemia and Blood Foundation or may be left at the service. As it's a celebration of mum's life we encourage you to wear bright colours.
