Janice HARKER Obituary

HARKER, Janice Helen (nee Walker). On 17 April 2018, passed away peacefully at Possum Bourne Hospital, aged 79. Dearly loved wife of Graeme for 59 years. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Phillip and Megan, Michael and Jane. Loved Nanny of Laura and Sophie, Reid and Casey. A service for Janice will be held in the Chapel of Waters Funerals Pukekohe, 81 Franklin Road, Pukekohe on Friday 20 April at 11am, followed by burial at Pokeno Old Cemetery, Fraser Road, Pokeno at 1.30pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to St John's Ambulance, Private Bag 14902, Panmure would be appreciated or may be left at the service.

Janice HARKER (nee Walker) Daughter of the late Elsie and Nick (Phillip) Walker of Brewsters Rd (then) now named Ridge Rd at "the top of the hill" in Whangarata. Attended Whangarata primary school during the 1950's and was one of my "seniors". Teachers then were Brian Malone and Ray Taylor. Fantastic years and Janice was always so lovely to us younger ones and always remained my friend. Devoted to her Graeme and sons and huge supporter of them at Western Springs where they drove very successfully. Always a hard worker and a Lady. Great memories Janice. Kindest thoughts to all - Brian Walker (no relation) - now of Oxford, Nth Canterbury.
