Janice GILL Obituary

GILL, Janice Pattie (née Smith). Passed away 19 May 2025 at North Shore Hospital. A mother who loved her sons David and Richard, her daughter-in-law Sonia and grandchildren Victoria, Kelsey and Ethan. Much loved sister of Winston, Lockwood and Peter. Janice wanted to acknowledge the kindness and support of friends at Warkworth Summerset Falls, especially the Indoor Bowls group, Ukelele group, and the Gardening Club, sharing with members the joy of digging her own garden. Janice also valued the support and experience provided in her work with IBM in Wellington over 26 years. Her family would like to thank the North Shore Hospital nursing staff for their kind care of Janice. Her funeral service will be held at the Coates Memorial Church, Matakohe, on Saturday, 7 June 2025 at 11:30am. A trailblazer now missed by many.

My heartfelt condolences to the Smith/Gill families. Janice was my neighbour at Summerset Falls and I valued her company and quiet support and interest. While not close just knowing she was there and keeping an eye out for me was comforting. I miss her.
