Janet Louise (nee Cooper) WILSON

Janet WILSON Obituary

WILSON, Janet Louise (Jan) (nee Cooper). Peacefully and with grace on 19 February 2025. Dearly beloved wife of the late Jack, loved mother of Sally, Andrew and Kate, Janma of Charlotte and Angus, fairy godmother of Wendy and David and a dear friend to many. A service to celebrate Jan's life will be held at St. Francis Church, 92 Mansel Ave, Hillcrest, Hamilton, on 5 March at 11am. The service will be live-streamed at https://vimeo.com/1058481802/b92f0805a3. Please email [email protected] if you need the livestream link sent to you. In lieu of flowers, donations to St Johns would be appreciated

Sincere sympathy on the passing of Jan. Jan and I supervised Midwifery & Nursing Exams for many years and kept in touch occasionally over cuppa or phone, on regular family updates until we moved to Rolleston four years ago. I enjoyed her company immensely. We had a good laugh together. She was a lovely, compassionate & kind person. I will always remember her smile.
