Janet's enduring friendship was one that I cherish. She was a lady of humour, wisdom, creativity, generosity and hospitality, and a shared love of music and dancing. Heartfelt condolences to her talented family, ably carrying the torch.

I was very sad to hear of the passing of Janet. I became very close to Janet while being a carer for her on Waiheke Island. You try not to have favourites, but Janet was my favourite. My condolences to her family. We will light a candle for Janet at the Waiheke Health Trust.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
My fondest memory was when Janet drove the two of us from Auckland, having firstly got the vehicular ferry from Waiheke, then to the Bay of Islands for a church celebration. Her resilience and humour was something to be admired. Lots of Love.
Rest in Peace dear friend.
