So sorry to hear this. We knew Jan well, she often came to Palmerston North to visit her cousin Pat Lopdell. She was always very kind to us, especially our daughter Nadia. She was always full of life and encouragement. She was very kind to Pat.

Thank you for a lifetime of memories. We had a lifelong friendship starting at school in Dunedin and then University, always scooting around Dunedin on the back of your Vespa. Although
we only saw each other intermittently in later years, nothing ever changed. I will miss knowing you are there. My love to you Sue, Amanda and Toby and the grandchildren. An amazing life well lived. I can´t be at the ceremony but I would love to watch the stream ..

Jan was so full of life, always with some exciting activity on the go. You would meet her in the most unlikely places and it was always a joy to catch up. Hugely admired and loved.
