GRAY, Janet Kathryn. Passed away on the morning of 23 February 2022 at Auckland City Hospital. Much loved aunt of Josephine and Damon, and Hamish and Marilynn, cherished great-aunt to Ethan, Seth, Oscar, and Tilly, and dear friend to many. As Janet wished, a small family service was held on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, donations to the New Zealand Cancer Society in Janet's memory would be appreciated.

Condolences to Jan´s loved ones. She was a proud Aunt and great Aunt. I first met Jan fifty years ago when we embarked on our School Dental Nursing careers and found ourselves training alongside one another firstly at Edenvale Road , Mt Eden, and then Mt Roskill the following year. On graduation in 1972, Jan worked at various schools in the Blockhouse Bay Area for 45 years, where she also lived.So farewell my friend, plans,hopes and dreams have been shelved, Gone way too soon,Arohanui, Robyn

Farewell to my treasured lifetime friend. Janet, you had a valuable and positive influence on my Life, thankyou my lovely ol' buddy. I will cherish all our last conversations, particularly 3 weeks ago when you made me a cup of tea at your home, & we sat & talked and laughed for 2 hours non-stop. Till we meet again. Love you heaps.
