I will always remember Jan for her unconditional love for people - even those she had just met. Many years ago she made my boys both feel pretty special - on one of our little excursions to visit Fraser, Christina, Jo, Darren and Jan, she talked with them both at their level at the cafe table; about what they were enjoying at school (or not), and what they wanted to do when they grew up and she squeezed a $5 into each of their hands and told them to buy an ice cream on the journey home. Jan had only just met the lads but they loved being included in the big people's conversations and listened to. Jan made them feel pretty special. She always asked me after them with our every encounter.
Like the beautiful words in this notice state Jan, you will always be remembered for your inclusiveness and kindness. You're leaving quite a gap, but you have left the world a better place. May you rest in peace.

Dear Joanne, Fraser, Hamish, Ross and extended families. I was fortunate to meet up with Jan in our real estate days and we enjoyed many laughs together. Jan's positive attitude in difficult times has been an inspiration to many. My thoughts are with you all at this difficult time. Rest in peace dear friend.

Our deepest condolences to Joanne, Fraser and Christina, Hamish, Ross and family for your loss.
Jan was truly one of the most lovely, friendly and welcoming people we´ve ever had the pleasure of being around and she will be sorely missed.
We will never forget her friendship, her hospitality, the trips to Ellerslie racecourse and her tips for the local race meetings.
Take care,
Darrin, Suzanne and family
