Jane CALLIS-MURPHY Obituary
CALLIS-MURPHY, Jane August 8, 1961 - October 7, 2019 Jane passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her family in her beloved England. Jane came to Canada at the age of 17. She met and married Ron Murphy 40 years ago and made her home in Guelph. Jane was such a beautiful soul and was adored by many. She leaves behind a long list of family, friends and acquaintances. She enjoyed entertaining and always made everyone feel welcome. She was very quick to help those in need and cherished the many friendships that she made over the years. Jane LOVED animals - even from a young age and was fortunate enough to grow up in an environment that allowed that and in later years, all her furry outdoor friends and many pets can attest to that love. Jane leaves behind the love of her life, Ron. She is survived by her sister Tracey (Roger) and her niece Billie (Jason), nephew George (Sam), and many great-nephews and great-nieces (England). She will be greatly missed by her family in Canada, her brother-in-law Bob (Enid), and sisters-in-law, Bonnie (Ty) and Pat, and her nieces and nephews and many, many close friends both in England and Canada. Predeceased by her father-in-law Dennis Murphy (1997), her dad, Bill Callis (2001), her mom, Mavis Callis (May 2019), her brother-in-law John Murphy (2009) and her mother-in- law Dorothy Murphy (2016). Cremation has taken place in St. Albans, England. A memorial service will be held at a later time in Guelph. Gone, but never forgotten.
