Dear Anna and family - I was shocked and saddened to learn of Jan's passing. Jan was a very special person and his loss immeasurable. Jan and you were so kind to my brother Rod in difficult times - he thought the world of you both and the twins. My sincere condolences to Jan's loved ones.

Sending sincere condolences on behalf of my late husband Tom Flutey and our family. Jan's mother was a first cousin of Tom who's mother was a Jeffares. We well remember Pat and Nancy when they lived in South Taranaki when the children were small and they would often call on us when we lived in Waitotara. I any my three children send our love and our thoughts are with you at this sad time.

Gosh I can't believe this news, I worked with Jan at SGS, he was such a kind and gentle man - I have great memories of him. My thoughts are with your family.
