I had the pleasure of knowing Jim having met him as a neighbour some 45 years ago and it was sad to hear of his passing. Jim was always interested in hearing about our family. A very polite, warm and caring man.
Will miss our long chats.

We met Jim when he visited the U.S. then he was very cordial to us when we visited NZ and he was a highlight of our visit. He was a very warm kind man and we enjoyed keeping in touch by phone.
We'll miss him.

Jim was a lifelong friend to my late parents (John and Barbara Brooker) for over 60 years. My Dad and Jim called each other regularly and would chat for ages. After Dad died 3 years ago, Jim continued that tradition by calling me "just to check how you are ". He was a very kind and caring man. Rest in peace Jim.

We loved Jim very much and will miss his monthly phone calls. He was very spiritual and very wise. We will miss his gentle and caring friendship. The world is poorer now for Jim not being in it. He will be resting with the one he loved so much. So long Jim till we meet again.
