James Sourdon Obituary

SOURDON, James Augustus (Jim). After a brave battle with cancer our Jimpassed away peacefully at North Shore Hospice 7 February 2012, aged 74 years surrounded by loved ones. Dearly loved son of the late Walter and Esma Sourdon. Much loved brother and brother-in-law of the late Shirley and Edward (Ted) Hodson, Maureen and the late Tony Eastgate (Whangarei). Dearly loved Uncle to his nieces and nephews and extended family. Dearly loved by so, so many friends. Long time member of the Mairangi Bay Tennis Club, member of the Beacroft Tennis Club and member of the Tennis Seniors North Harbour Tennis Club. Tennis was Jim's passion and greatest love. Jim you loved life and those in your life, you will be truly missed by all. God bless you and safe journey. In Lieu of flowers donations to North Shore Hospice Trust; PO Box 331129, Takapuna 0740. A service for Jim will be held at the North Harbour Chapel of Dil's Funeral Services, 185 Schnapper Rock Road, Albany, on Monday 13 February at 10.30am. Followed by private cremation.
