James SHERBURD Obituary

SHERBURD, James (Eric). Died peacefully on Sunday, 29 March 2026 in his 94th year. He lived a full and generous life leaving a legacy of kindness wisdom and good humour. He was a man with a deep faith in God. Eric is survived by his loving wife Julie. Forever remembered with love by Barbara, Todd, Robyn and Sue, his grandchildren and great grandchildren, wider family and friends. A memorial service will be held, and details will be advised at a later date.

We have only just heard of the passing to Glory of Eric. A lovely, spiritual man greatly admired. My home group leader in Wellington in the early 1970's, guest at our wedding 50 years ago and a dearly loved and cherished friend of the Wright family. Beautiful, special memories are in our hearts. Heartfelt sympathy to Julie and the Sherburd family.
