Farewell, Uncle Jim,

Our family will always hold dear the memories of your warm hospitality and kindness during our stay and my time studying in New Zealand more than 24 years ago. You have been a cherished brother figure to Dad, and it was particularly meaningful to reconnect with you in 2019 and especially recently in 2023. Your visits have exemplified the endurance of long-distance relationships.

These treasured moments, including our shared love for the song "Breathe," are deeply ingrained in my heart, especially the memorable long drives to Palmie.

You were particularly emotional last year when bidding us farewell; we noticed your tear-filled eyes, conveying a depth of emotion.

Farewell, Uncle Jim. Your remarkable life will be fondly remembered and cherished by our family always.
