James OWEN Obituary

OWEN, James Herbert (Jim) On 7 March, 2016, aged 104. Retired gracefully after a fine innings. Greatly loved husband of the late Gretta. Loved father and father in law of Glenda and the late John Berentson, Ray and Tricia Owen, and the late Murray Owen. Loved grandad of Chris and Megan, Nick, Olivia, Paul and Jess, and Trace and Ritchie. Proud great-grandad of Oscar, Harry, Ngaio, Florence, McKenzie and Darcy. Grateful thanks to all the staff of Cedar Manor, and wonderful doctors and nurses of Ward 2, Tauranga Hospital. A Requiem Mass for Jim will be celebrated at St Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, corner of Elizabeth Street and Cameron Road, Tauranga on Saturday 12th March at 11am followed by private cremation.
