It is a long time since Vin and Kathy have seen Jimmy as he emigrated to New Zealand about 50 years ago.

Vinny remembers playing football against Jimmy as they never played on the same team and generally Jimmy's team won.

We remember that he loved football and always had lots of friends.

We also remember our Mum telling the tale that he used to pick up stray dogs and bring them back for a meal after which they went back to their own homes! Also that he broke his heart when he watched Lassie come home at the pictures but Mum had to let him stay to the end so he could see the dog was OK.

All this shows he had a kind heart and we are sure that Maureen, Michael, Andrew, Stephen and all their families will miss him greatly.

We send you all our sympathy and will be thinking of you at this very sad time.
