McILRAITH, James Lyle. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of James at Phillip Island, Victoria, Australia on 23 August 2025. Dearly loved son of David and Sally, adored elder brother of Sarah and William, special grandson of Buzz and Nicky McIlraith (Deceased) and Jim and Pam Parker (Deceased). A Memorial Service to remember James will be held at Purewa Chapel, 100 St Johns Road, Meadowbank on Wednesday 19 November at 4.00pm. All correspondence to 021 223 1777

Alan and I have just heard the very very sad news of James passing away. We send our deepest condolences to Sally and David and Sarah and William. We have many fond memories of James coming over to our place to play and the early years in the soccer team that he and Andrew and George were part of. They were special years and the boys were close friends having started school together .
